I've left the original sources and credits text from this site below, but I've used many more sources over the last few years and have started trying to spread source credits throughout the site. In addition to those thanked below originally I'd like to give special thanks to Brian Morrison at the ACC offices, James Armstrong, Andy Markham, and my good friend Sammy Kent. And to all the readers who have sent corrections, some of which have made it into the site and some of which are still sitting in a pile in my mailbox awaiting action. The original credits: Sources: Information on this web site has come from a variety of sources - including the ACC offices, the various school Sports Information offices, newspapers (particularly the Raleigh News & Observer), and the internet. But special mention should be made of 5 published sources: THE ACC BASKETBALL STAT BOOK, edited by John C. Prouty; Willow Oak Publishing;1993 - About 20% of the individual stats on my site came from this book. This is an essential book for any fan and is updated regularly ACC BASKETBALL: AN ILLUSTRATED HISTORY by Ron Morris; Four Corners Press; 1988 - Sadly out of print, this extraordinary book is the definitive work to date on the history of ACC men's basketball. Gorgeous, loaded with great pictures and and extremely well written. How 'bout a new edition Ron? - I lifted most of my Top 20 rankings and ACC awards sections from the tables at the end of this book THE ACC BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT CLASSIC by Smith Barrier & Hugh Morton; Greensboro Publications; 1981 - Another great but out of print work. Includes box scores for every ACC tourney game - many of which made it to my site. THE ENCYCLOPDEIA OF THE NCAA BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT by Jim Savage; Dell Publishing; 1990 - Has, among other things, boxscores of every NCAA tournament game. FAN'S GUIDE TO ACC BASKETBALL by Barry Jacobs; published annually from 1985 through 1997 (and beyond) by several different publishers under several slightly different titles. What can I say? The yearly bible for ACC fan's. Thanks also to Barry for giving me 15 years of game stat sheets and for always being willing to field my phone calls and help when I need some arcane piece of data. Special Thanks to Tim Horne, whose early 80's tabletop strategy game ACC-TION BASKETBALL got me obsessed with the statistical side of the game. Special "Above and Beyond The Call of Duty" thanks to Mike Colley at UVA and to the ever-helpful and nearly omniscient Jed Tai - better known as Usenet basketball diety "Jazzy J".
